Every year, 350 friends and neighbors unabashedly treat themselves to evening of conversation, live music and dozens of tastes of every type: sweet, succulent, piquant, fizzy, fiery, cheesy, chewy and tangy. They sample a huge variety of beers (provided by Joseph Mullarkey Distributors, Granite City and Macushla Brewing Company), heart-warming wines and the best food in the region from very different kitchens, including The Curragh Irish Pub & Restaurant, Wildfire and Plateia.
The secret recipe? It’s Bites & Brews, a six-year tradition in Glenview. This year’s fest is scheduled frolm 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 26, at The Glen Club, 2901 West Lake Avenue, Glenview. Tickets are $25 for Chamber of Commerce members and $35 for non-members and at the door.
As a community event organized by the Chamber, Bites & Brews is supported by sponsors Wintrust (Glenview and Northview Bank and Trust) and Joseph Mullarkey Distributors. Food is provided by 23 Glenview Chamber member restaurants, caterers, wine merchants and craft beer purveyors.
