You're invited to join the Village of Glenview's Natural Resources Commission to pick up trash, cut brush and remove weeds along the West Fork of the North Branch of the Chicago River.
The Techny Basin Fall Workday takes place from 9 a.m. to noon Sunday, October 27. Volunteers will meet in the Kohls parking lot off Willow Road. Work gloves, trash bags and snacks will be provided.
