We remember

​Honor the memory of those who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of their country at the 2019 Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony on Monday, May 27. This year's parade will step off at 10 a.m. from the corner of Grove and Depot streets in downtown Glenview. The parade will head east on Grove to Pine Street; south on Pine to Glenview Road; and then east to the Veteran's Memorial at Glenview Road and River Drive, where the ceremony will take place.

Speakers include Joseph Lampert, Commander, American Legion, First Division, Cook County Council; Joseph M. Sesterhenn American Legion Post 166 Commander John Wowk; and Village President Jim Patterson.

Traffic will be restricted on Glenview Road from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. Please refer to this map for the parade route and locations where roads and parking will be closed from about 10 to 11:30 a.m. Monday, May 27.
