Potential measles exposure in suburban Cook County

The Cook County Department of Public Health Thursday, March 28, reported a confirmed case of measles, and released a list of 16 locations in Chicago and the northern suburbs -- including Glenview -- that the infected person visited before the illness was discovered. The contagious individual may have exposed others between March 17 and 24, including a March 22 visit to Glenbrook Hospital Laboratory and Oncology Center, 2100 Pfingsten Road, Glenview.

There is no longer an infection risk at the locations listed, according to Cook County officials. Individuals susceptible to measles who were in the listed locations may contact their physician or Cook County at (708) 836-8699. More information is available on the CCDPH website:
